Things were getting so hectic around here with so much going on that Debbie (my wife) and I
decided that we needed to get away. It just so happened that Muscle Palooza was going to be at Lebanon Valley and we
thought that it would be a perfect outing. The weather was looking kinda threatening but we weren't gonna let that stop
us. The number of cars looked a little low but there was some nice stuff. There was a '59 Pontiac that really impressed
me and there were some other nice cars, but that one was so clean and different enough that it really got my attention. I was thinking that the cars were going to be faster and a little more outrageous with this being such a big event. There were some good runners but nothing outstanding. I'm sure a lot of "heavy hitters" stayed home due to the weather and they were probably right since there were three rain delays. After a while, we decided to take off early and go into Albany to look around. That place was amazing, the buildings were huge and the architecture was awesome. It was pretty quiet with the holiday weekend so we were able to just stroll around at our leisure and take a few pictures and really enjoy the rest of the day. We really had a good time and I'd do it again but I think I'll check the weather channel first. - Don LeFever |
